The first official Apple store in the southern hemisphere will have it’s grand opening Thursday, June 19 at 5pm in Sydney. The Sydney store home page has all the opening times.
In true Apple style the store looks incredible. Check out this gallery uploaded to Flickr. The store cost approxamtely $15M to build and will not coincide with the launch of the iPhone 3G in Australia, due to be launched on July 11.
The store is expected to be inundated with Mac addicts likely to camp out overnight to be amongst the first to get into the new store. Apparently a free T-shirt is on offer for the first 2500 people to enter.
