About Brusca

Brusca

I find myself falling more and more into the entrepreneurial space, but I don’t like to call it that, I’m just creatively ambitious

My Life stream

Welcome to my life stream here at brucelevick.com. I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember. I have always loved creating visual art and have been doing this for some period of time from illustration, design, animation, photography and film, web design and development and seen a lot of changes during that time. From the .com bust to web 2.0 reviving the market and now social networking is driving the rise and rise of engaging online from a personal and business level.

Professionally

In my professional career I’ve worked with hundreds of clients and built hundreds of online solutions to suit each individual client. From sole business owners, to launching National Basketball teams and managing the online presence of international celebrities. I’ve managed online initiatives to generate traffic and raised revenues in the millions of dollars for my clients.

My Initiatives

Recently I started a process to switch to producing my own initiatives. Revisiting my creative roots and pooring my extensive skill set into creating my own online creative hubs and initiatives. Ranging from providing Social Media insights and internet marketing to my love of photography in the form of panoramic photography and time-lapse photography.

The Tube

I’ve witnessed the birth and growth of online video and experienced every aspect of delivering the moving picture online. I believe a big part of engaging online will continue to be the growth in online video. Match this with a great social media marketing plan and you have the recipe for an engaging marketing message or even the next big viral video.

The Future

If you haven’t embraced an online presence from a personal level or a business level then it’s never too late. You might find this hard to believe but the Internet as we know it is only the tip of the iceberg. Whatever the future brings I hope I can continue to help in the form of my own creative initiatives or in a more professional solution with my own extensive professional experience.

Burra and Beyond

Burra, a town built on the copper explosion around 1849. The more of these historical towns I see the more I fall in love with the history of Australia. During its peak period in the 1850s, Burra had a population of around 5000 people. They came from far and wide and even from overseas to work on the biggest copper mine in the world. The town could not cope with the population explosion so residents dug homes out of the side of Burra Creek (see gallery). It wasn’t long before disease started working its way through the population, forcing residents from the creek and into a built residence.
Some of the mine has been restored but the majority has been destroyed due to recent open cut mining, which is a real shame as the museums show the historic mine in it’s hey day and it would be amazing to have seen it fully restored. There is still plenty of the historic mine to experience all around this beautiful historic town.
