365 Days – July
Posted by Brusca under 365 Days of 2010, Photography, iPhone
I have decided to take a photo for each day of 2010 with my iPhone. They can be self portraits or anything that takes my fancy or wherever I am at at the time. All photos are edited directly on the iPhone and mostly edited with the Best Camera App, developed by Chase Jarvis. At the end of the year I will hopefully put a book together, perhaps produced in Aperture. Here are my July photos.

My favourite iPhone photo for July is “200/365 – Number 200″.

Dirt and Dust on Safari
Posted by Brusca under Africa, Panorama, Photography, Safari, Serengeti, Tanzania, flickr
Safaris can be and usually are a dry and dusty place. If you’re not careful when handling your DSLR on safari then things can go wrong very quickly. One of the first things to be sure of is getting yourself equipped with a good adventure style camera bag.
Read on at Africa Freak to find out about protecting your camera on safari.

Fixing Panoramic Images with Photoshop CS5 Content-Aware in 5 Minutes

The new Photoshop CS5 Content-Aware Fill is a masterpiece. If you are in any kind of design or photography field it is my humble opinion that you should upgrade just for that alone.

A New Panoramic Print for you to LOVE
Posted by Brusca under Nikon D90, Panorama, Photography, Portfolio, flickr
OK so this is an oldy but a goody. Cabarita is my little getaway spot. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle and not crowded like Byron Bay. I like to go there out of the holiday season as it’s just so peaceful. This one is taken from the point looking north. This print has now been added to Love the Pano. I also have another that looks south, to be added to the collection soon. Enjoy!

Africa Freak
Posted by Brusca under Africa, Nikon D90, Panorama, Photography, Tanzania, flickr
Awesome news! I have just been accepted as a contributor to the Safari blog, Africa Freak (African Safari and Wildlife Specialists). Now granted I’m not a specialist in that field, but my passion was intensified for Africa after a 3 week whirlwind trip in June 2009. In 3 weeks I experienced 2 very different safaris, Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and a 55km 3 day hike through the crater highlands in northern Tanzania, so with that I am hoping to share my experiences and provide tips on things I learnt on the way. I have captured an incredible amount of footage and images from that trip and some I am yet to share on any blog, so look out for that in the near future. Check out some of the current imagery I have placed online already. Tanzania and Crater Highlands Trek and some panoramic prints.

Can You Love the Pano?
Posted by Brusca under Nikon D90, Panorama, Photography, Tanzania, flickr

My passion for photography has certainly grown exponentially over the last 2 years. I find it hard to go through a single day without taking photos nowadays. On top of my creative passions is something I have been doing since as far back as 2002, and that’s taking panoramic photos. I have had at least one or two people mention that they love my panoramic photos. So I decided, why not take the next step and start selling my panoramic prints online. Cut to the pre-cooked sample, and voila! www.lovethepano.com. Right now as of this post there are 9 prints to choose from, and a good range of subjects from a Lioness, Cheetah, Hyenas to Jessica Watson and a Brisbane city scape.
You can also show your LOVE for each print. Prints are ordered by the most loved to the least loved. Below are some examples, the rest are right here. I do hope you like and any feedback is appreciated.
