It’s been a seriously busy start to the year. I have had a lot of client work roll in so once again my time has been very limited towards working on my niche site. I have to say it’s not really work, i’m having a ball with delivering cool content when I can and providing tips and tricks wherever I can.
I have a few updates to share with you and despite not having a lot of time to throw into it, things continue to grow.
Traffic and Keyword Monthly Comparison
Below is a comparison between February and January for my top 4 keywords/phrases and the improvements as you can see are going nicely. These top 4 keywords also just happen to be the main keywords I am targeting and i’m on the 1st or 2nd page of Google for all of these keywords with time-lapse content.
While the traffic keyword targeting is improving, so is the adsense click rate. In February so far I have had seven clicks and actually making some money, only a small $8 but it’s better than nothing.
Nikon D90 Time-lapse Techniques eBook
On top of regular blog content I have also released a Nikon D90 Time-lapase Techniques ebook. A complete guide of the process I use to take and make time-lapse footage on the Nikon D90. I have taken two approches with this ebook. I have placed it on sale in two places but also offer it up for free on the blog if you subscribe to my MailChimp mailing list. I am happy to report that on the Kindle and LuLu networks I have sold 15 copies of my eBook in the first month and now have an average of 3 new newsletter sign-ups per day. I can totally vouch for MailChimp, simply an amazing newsletter service and improving all the time.
Well that’s it for now. I look forward to reporting back on future updates and seeing how things are progressing further. Hopefully my time will open up a bit so I can sink my teeth in further.
